Okay guys. I just had an awesome Turtle Moment today. So, first off... I got Netflix. And I've started getting the 80's TMNT series on DVD. And just now, I got so hyped up after an episode of TMNT that I opened my window, and screamed 'TURTLE POWER!' ...But that's not all. There was a group of about four people across the street that turned to look at me, and just yelled back in unison 'COWABUNGA!' So yeah. That made my day. And yes, I get excited over stuff easily. But anyways! Any awesome Turtle Moments happen to you guys, at all?

I don't have anything like that, but it's awesome that you're getting back into the original series. I've loved that show since I was a little Desslok, and I've got all the DVDs so far. If you get to a fun episode and want to discuss, I'm all for it!

I've always loved oldie cartoons. They're the best cartoons ever, in my opinion. Rocky and Bullwinkle, 90s X-Men, 80s TMNT, Animaniacs, that Super Mario Bros. show thingy... All of those are great I love Netflix XD I'm already through the first volume of TMNT.

You know I feel less nostalgic when all the 90's cartoons I've marathoned already when I was 14-17 while everyone doesn't even remember any episodes. Feels bad man.
Back to topic, I only got up to Season 4 in the 90's series and Season 3 in the 03' series. It's kind of hard to keep up with nearly 350 episodes total.

I have many turtle moments, I am not only a fan of the Ninja turtles , you see, but of turtles in general too! box turtles, marine turtles, snapping turtles, tortoises, red-eared sliders, Proganochelys, and even the ugliest of all the turtles: the soft-shelled turtles. So having said that...remember the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? live action 1991? well, there was a sound effect that was queued everytime there was some kind of clue about the turtles like for example, when April first sees Raphael's Sai, there it goes "tadadah tadadah" so therefore, after having seen that movie countless times ever since I was a little kid, everytime somebody says "turtle" in every language I know, I say out loud that same sound effect "tadadah tadadah" lol if you don't know what I'm talking about, go watch the movie, it is my FAVORITE Ninja turtle movie. Here's another moment: when I went with my family to watch that same movie in the theaters in 1991 (I was 4 years old) and Raphael got his Sai back and attacked the Foot Soldiers, I gotup from my seat and began to kick and punch the air in excitement of Raphael's fight, and alot of people noticed me and were amused by it, not making fun but more like "look he's a ninja turtle too!" kinda way, I wasn't embarrassed at all. I will tell you of other turtle ocassions later, trust me, I got a bunch of them.

When I was a kid, my parents used to take me to Aventura Mall on Miami Fl, a lot. And there was this Arcade place called Fun n' Games, right next to Fridays.
Anyway, they had the Turtles arcade game, and according to tales my parents tell me, one time they tried pulling me away from the arcade, and I tried really hard to not let go, to the point I was playing while my body was horizontal in front of the screen. And I would keep playing. XD
Great times... I look back on those days, that Arcade was the best. It has a very special place in my heart.

Hahaha, that's really cool, I was like that too, I mean what's better to watch turtles on screen? to control them! but wow, to be horizontally playing lol you must have had quite a grip on that arcade!
