I'm such a huge fan of all the movies that have led up to this movie. Iron Man was great, The Incredible Hulk was great, Thor was great, Captain America was great...they were all full of pure awesomeness. And with this movie coming out very soon, I'm very psyched. Trailer: Also, what is this thing supposed to be in the Marvel Universe: My knowledge of anything marvel is pretty slim, since I don't read the comics much, but I do love the movies, and I'm a big fan of all the Marvel heroes/villains.

It looks like the years of build up have been worth it. If the film is half as good as the previews it could be the most exciting superhero film ever made! As for the menacing flying thing there, I have no clue. All I know is that I can't wait to watch the Avengers attack it head on.

I've yet to see Thor or Incredible Hulk. I heard Incredible Hulk wasnt too good, while Thor was all raves.
I have to say though. Captain America was by far my favorite hero movie. Always thought he was "meh" as a superhero when I was a kid. I mean, a guy that fights with a shield. Mkay. Yeah. Hulk was cooler back then. He got big, green, and unstoppable.
But now that I've grown up and learned more about the Captain, I say he's much more awesome now.
But I have to agree. Iron Man, Hulk, Capt., and Thor will make an EXCELLENT, COMPLETELY unorthodox, team. Son of a god, a billionaire genius with a shiny suit, a REALLY ticked off ex-scientist, and a super-patriot with a shield. And top all that off with Fury. Oh yeah. Its gonna be awesome.

Thor was amazing. I liked the Incredible Hulk, and I know some people mistake it for the really bad "Hulk" movie that came out before it. It wasn't as exciting as the other movies, but still worth watching.

Yeah, "The Incredible Hulk" is tons better than "Hulk." Certainly check it out sometime.
And Scruffy, I have to agree with you, the good captain so far is my favorite of the Avengers team. He has seemed kind of "meh" until recently, but I really think that's mainly because his screen appearances up until "First Avenger" were so awful.

I was always a fan of the Cap, but that was mainly because of the Marvel vs Capcom games. Final Justice ftw I like the Iron Man movies the best. I just enjoy how Robert Downey Jr playes Tony Stark. So hilarious. xD Then comes Captain America, Thor, and Hulk. I don't really like though how much representation Black Widow got in Iron Man 2, and so little for Hawkeye in Thor. I've always liked Halkeye much much more. I just love all those arrows he can use. Not to mention, Black Widow looks so silly at the end of that trailer with that teeny tiny gun of hers. xD

I'm not much of an Avengers guy, but I'll take Captain America any day. He's so cool. Still, Batman has always been my favorite Super Hero...
I'm ready to see this movie. I just need to see the newest Hulk to be caught up on everyone. It will be a great movie, nonetheless.

My favorite superhero would probably be a character I made for a game called Mutants and Masterminds. Her hero name is Replica, grew up a street kid. Mutant. She has a rather unique power, and an intense hatred for the "real" heroes. I'll post her story and adventures in an alternate thread if enough people are interested But back on track. I guess I need to see Thor and Incredible Hulk sometime in the next few days, lol.

I have a soft spot for my creations too, Scruffy. If you feel like posting I'll take a look over in the "Share" part of the dojo. Check out Thor for sure, it's quite entertaining.

I'm not much of a writer. But I am a roleplayer. So I know all about little details. I'll get it posted when I get the first chapter all made up. I have so many characters I wanna write stories for, heh.
And now back to the The Avengers! :3 I feel bad for having off-topic discussions. It makes me feel like I hi-jacked someone's thread >.>

It happens lol Sometimes certain things come up, and just need to be said, as long as the topic doesn't start to solely be talked about such things. It's all good Scruffy.

You have an Avengers thread but NOT one for The Dark Knight Rises? atrocious! TDKR will be grander and of higher quality, it deserves a thread...I guess I'll make it before the movie comes out.

This movie...was...amazing. I can't say anything besides "You better go see this". It was too good for words to describe.
It also made the most money in the box office(for first weekend of release)ever, making $200,300,000.
