Welcome to the first thread of a new series of threads I'll be posting where we'll be discussing our absolute favorite games from gaming consoles old and new!
The first console of topic is the NES.
Obviously everyone is going to say "Super Mario Bros!" but what other games are near and dear to your heart?
I say Ninja Gaiden is a must for gaming enthusiasts. It was one of the first games to use a very effective cinematic approach to convey its very attention grabbing plot, and the difficulty level could make even the most skilled gamer cringe. Frustrating but fun!
I also liked Wheel of Fortune, not so much because it was fun to play, but because the sound effects were so hilarious!
WooooOOOOooooOOOOooo!

The Disney games on NES were very good (Chip & Dale, Ducktales, Talespin, Mickey Mousecapade), Ghosts & Goblins, all the Megaman games, Bucky O Hare, Battletoads, Double Dribble, River City Ransom, Punch-Out, all the Castlevania games, A Boy and his Blob. Man this list could go on.

There's a ton of awesome NES games...but if I had to settle for one, i'd have to be Megaman 2. Just classic...
And about Megaman 2...its been confirmed that its another one of the games coming on the 3DS. I'm on Wiinet, so I can't really dig up the article right now, so you'll have to take my word for it for now.

Aw, come on guys! What about the very first TMNT? I'm not talking about the Arcade-style beat-'em-ups. I'm talking about the one that was practically unwinnable.
Single-player, have all four turtles to control (one at a time), and if all of them died you lost the game... No saves... Oh, and lets not forget that most enemies could kill you if you werent careful... Yes, even the foot soldiers... And some enemies were so fast you couldnt dodge them unless you KNEW where they were coming from...
Ah yes! And the EXTREMELY difficult levels to navigate through. For example, the water one where you only had like... One path as wide as a turtle and a half to swim through... And if you went past that path, you'd get shocked by some weird underwater-electrifying (ITS ELECTRIFYING!!!)-plants... And that was early on! You were lucky to survive past there! Or a pro!
...Man, great game. Loved it. Always have, always will.
