Oh, okay. 17 acts makes up for the 1500 points. That's not that bad. Though I still do agree, 1000 points would be -way- more agreeable. And I'm not saying that just cause I'm a penny-pincher

Guess you beat me to it CTK. xD The term is ninja'd, which fits me. 17 acts sounds pretty good, as long as it doesn't convert to only 3-4 hours of play (that's when the disappointment kicks in). I can beat Sonic 3 & Knuckles in 1-2 hours. I doubt this game will be that long even with all the Episodes. Super Sonic being playable insantly makes a buy for me.

Anything Sonic is insantly a buy for me. Fix'd I'm not trying to make a competition of who can beat the game the fastest, I'm just saying that at least downloadable episodic games are usually $5-8 because they are made with only about 2-4 hours worth of content, and then be ready for the next episode. With Sonic 4, it just seems like they winging it, considering we don't even know how many episodes we're getting. Almost true, but I don't like 06 or Secret Rings. Of course. What'd you expect from Sega?

Ugh, Secret Rings... One of the first Wii games I got, and the first I regretted getting. I HATED the controls.

SEGA just took down the thread containing the release dates and prices over at the forums at SEGA. Guess they just didn't want people to know until they said it. Kinda too late for that.

The price is becoming less and less of a bother to me now. I mean, the hinted number of Episodes is 3, and if all were $15 that would make it $45, which is about the price of a retail game. I think that's what SEGA wants. If they were all $10 that would make the total $30.
EDIT: Also, the original classic games were even more than $45 back in the day. This is actually a bargain, as we're getting extra little features as well.

Well gee, Japan is getting it cheaper than us. 1000 Wii Points(though still $15 on 360 and PS3).
Either Japan is getting it cheaper than us, or Wii Points are more expensive there.
Or one can hope that SEGA lowered the price for the Wii version in all countries.
If not, I feel kinda ripped off if Japan is getting it cheaper than us.

Well Japan pays more than $60 on wii. can you just give them a break? lol sorry Well that's why I said that if Nintendo stuff is just more expensive there, then I can see why SEGA would want to make it even for everyone. But then there's the U.K., where they have to pay more for Nintendo Points too, and Sonic 4 still costs 1500 Wii Points.

So does that mean I can pretend to stack 6 cartridges on top of each other so they connect?

lol You know what I mean. Lock-on is just a fun term to use since that's what Sonic & Knuckles did. Add-on I guess would be more appropriate. You can still play the later Episodes individually though.
