Well...my SonicSpeed site is hardly visited. People still join, but no one really DOES anything, so I'm just gonna go ahead and post this here. Anyways, for your enjoyment, you can see Act 1-3 + the boss fight of the first Zone, Splash Hill, as well as the Comic-Con Gamespot interview: Splash Hill Zone Act 1 Act 2 + Special Stage Act 3 Boss fight Comic-Con Gamespot Interview There are also leaks of future levels of Episode 1 on youtube, but I'd rather not post them as its spoiling what shouldn't be shown yet, so I won't post them. Note if you complain about the running animation as seen in the vids above, it HAS been fixed so not only is the running animation smoother, but it doesn't take as long to get up to speed. This update is shown in the Comic-Con video above. Its also been confirmed that this is a download only game, that Sega is not interested in a retail release. That doesn't mean it won't happen, it just means that its more than likely to not happen. This will be downloadable on WiiWare, XBOX Live, Playstation Network, and IPhone. ENJOY AND DISCUSS!

I'm not gonna look at the videos because I don't want to be spoiled. Also you probably knew it wasn't going to be as a retail game (if it's small enough to be on WiiWare, it's going to stay that way). Honestly, the skepticism about speed and animation I'm just gonna ignore until the actual game is out (because it might/might not be fixed). The only thing I really don't like now that I think about it is that Dimps always has a tendency to make the 2D games with fast forward speed and constant roll attacks. I know Sonic is fast and all, but half of the game is making through the platforms, not pressing right and A, jump and attack, repeat for 2 minutes. Well...I don't mind it, but it is different from the classic games. And I've seen the leaks(well, not that much), and it seems like its not so abused in future levels. Seems to be just a Splash Hill thing. I know that each individual Episode wouldn't get a retail release, I'm talking about the full Sonic the Hedgehog 4 games(all episodes combined). I just hope that all these episodes will at least be able to merge together so you can play through ALL of Sonic the Hedgehog 4. And if Tails and Knuckles are to be added, then they could enjoy the places they couldn't go to before(like Knuckles in Sonic 3, and Tails being able to go to the Sonic & Knuckles levels).

There might be someone's house I could go to... I'll have to look into it. I'll be SO glad when I move back into town next year, lol.

Well, one good thing out of all this is that this is just Episode 1. By the time you move again, Episode 2 might be out, and Episode 3 will probably be less than a year away from then.

The official site got a major update, with a new zone to show. If you don't want to know what that zone is, I'd suggest you don't go there. sonicthehedgehog4.com

Honestly, this is the one of the few times I've been excited about a Sonic game for a while. Definitely gonna give the first Episode a try.

Well, that hasn't been officially announced by SEGA yet CTK. 1500 points was revealed in the Nintendo Power magazine, but ever since that mention fans are going crazy saying that its too high and should be 1000, and it seems that Sega is listening. I joined the forums at Sega for a reason. lol
So I wouldn't think too highly of that price just yet. I want to hear the words coming from Sega's mouth first.

lol Some of the topics here I go "lol wut is this I don't even". I'll try to post moar. I wouldn't say retarted. Spoiled, yes. Okay, maybe SOME are retarted. And I'm actually fine with paying $15. A Wii Points Card costs $20 anyways so no matter what unless you're paying by credit card you're paying more than the game itself. :/

xboxlive.ign.com/articles/112/1123849p1.html < Proof of CTK's statement. Guess you beat me to it CTK. xD SEGA stated that only the story for Episode 2 is finished. Development hasn't started just yet. I imagine they'll start shortly after release of Episode 1. Additional character(s)has been hinted at for Episode 2 as well in the past, so we could expect Tails &or Knuckles soon! Also, I'm not gonna really complain about the price. 17 acts(then there's the special stages too), online leaderboards(great for time attack). It still seems overpriced for the first Episode, but then again, I'm fine with it. There will also be a level select like feature, too. Whenever you beat an act, a button on the screen appears. If you push that button, you will go to the next act. If you choose not to, you actually get to go back to the level select screen. Pretty cool little feature I must say.
