This game is gonna be awesome.

Another Werehog hater, eh?
Very well then. I actually enjoyed it. Beating the crap out of enemies with stretchy arms was great fun. And I view this as a start of something great, actually, as this could be taken to a whole new level as some cool gameplay style for Knuckles.
This is basically just taking the Daytime stages gameplay of Sonic Unleashed and making it even better. Honestly, I see nothing wrong with this game.

To me, it just seems like an average 2.5D sonic game, nothing more, nothing less. I dunno. It has lots of parts like that, yes, but a lot of it is 3D as well.

Well for the record, it never said it was wi-fi or local.

Well for the record, it never said it was wi-fi multiplayer, it could be local only. Hence why I hate getting tricked whenever they put a wifi logo in a game that doesn't make sense. We do know why its there so far though, and its for online Leaderboards. There might be even more kinds of online features. You never know. @kart: lol Sure, if you want. This is legitimate news.

Online leaderboards are meh. Unless some random japanese guy pulls off beating levels in 5 seconds and SEGA does nothing to fix it.

If that does happen, all you do is ignore them and just think of whatever is the highest legitimate score as 1st Place.

Umm....wat. Europe is getting a special edition box for DS and Wii versions, each comes with a different wisps. I'm sorry, but as a toy collector, that Sonic figure seriously looks awful. Jazwares did a better job making a Sonic for only $5! Colors figure looks like something that would come out of a happy meal. compared to this

Cutscene:
Don't worry, this scene is completely spoiler free, and basically just explains the story. Why post this? To show off Sonic and Tails's new voices of course.
Roger Craig Smith needs quite a bit of work on Sonic's voice. Way too deep for Sonic, but hey, Jason Griffith needed time to get good at voicing Sonic as well, so don't be too quick to judge. Just need to get used to it.
Tails's voice is awesome though.

Definately agree. Sonic's voice is too deep. But Tails sounds good. Maybe a little bit more lively, though. Just a tad.

The game's release is getting closer and closer...and the DS version has received a demo on the Nintendo Channel, but only in Europe and Australia as of yet, but I'm sure that the US will get it too, but probably not till Monday. You get to play through the first act of the first zone:
Something should come to mind when you watch this: "Sonic Rush 3".
I don't really blame it for having the same gameplay as Rush, since its probably the closest to the Unleashed Daytime stages gameplay as you can get. I doubt I'll get this game though, because of that. Rush was fun, but very repetitive, and I just see Rush all over again when watching that video.
I'll be sure to get the Wii version though(when I have enough money that is), but I'm really more interested in Epic Mickey, so I'll probably be getting that first.
