Release date: November 16, 2010  Sonic Colors for the Wii. This is basically Unleashed, but just with normal Sonic like he was in his daytime stages. He also gets powers from the aliens called Wisps to make him do certain things, like going through walls or teleporting. From the looks of things, this game has A LOT more side-scrolling action than Unleahsed did, and MAN the graphics are impressive. This game is coming out for the Wii and DS, though the DS, while still has the gameplay where you get powers from Wisps, its a lot like the Sonic Rush gameplay. Its mostly all 2D, with some 3D parts in some areas. But this topic is about the Wii version, not the DS one. So what do you guys think? Is it a buy for you? |

I hope the gameplay is going to be like sonic adventure 1 and 2. The song is anther sonic hit. The graphics are so colorful! (pun intended)

(pun intended) Its more like Unleashed, actually, from the looks of it and what I've heard. But yeah, the song and the graphics are great. Oh, and I added the release date on the top of my first post too. |

Oh, I forgot to mention. The Nintendo Wi-Fi symbol you see in the top left. That is for Leaderboards. You simply send your records at how fast you beat a level onto the leaderboards.

No...that looks nothing like the Wisps in this game! Seeing how its just Sonic playable, having races is kinda silly. Having leaderboards makes sense, since games like this are perfect for Time Trials. |
