It comes out this week, and I'm majorly PUMPED!!! Of course I likely won't be able to get my hands on it this week, but just knowing it's there when I can is a nice thought, lol. I saw a new commercial for this on TV last night, kinda fun. I'm still shocked that my E3 wish came true.

God, I cant wait til this game comes out. I've been wanting another DK hit since Jungle Beat. And I've always preferred the 2D games more. So... Yes! Cant wait >.< Lol.

Yep, like I expected, this game is Donkey Kong Country's NSMB/NSMB Wii. Enjoyable, gets more difficult as you progress, you can buy items at Cranky's shop (getting more lives, extra levels, finding all the KONG tokens). Diddy Kong is only playable in 2 Players, on one player, he aids you with his jetpack. And I still hate the cart levels to this day.

I got to try this out today, and I must say, it is a pretty cool game, but the fact that I can't play as Diddy on Single Player is really bugging me. I mean c'mon, if you wanted DK to hover by using Diddy, just make him go on your back sorta like you could do in Donkey Kong Country 2-3. :/

Ah, CTK, I hated the cart levels too, but there's something so aluring about them. That's the strange thing about the DKC games, they can be aggravating as hell but I always come back for more. So many great games out at the same time, I've got to get in on this action!

Why does everybody hate the cart levels?

I don't hate the cart levels, I secretly like them a lot, but I have to admit that I get a "oh boy, here it comes" feeling every time I encounter one. Like I said, that's always been part of the charm of the DK games.

I miss the sound effect when you land on the rail.

DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN POP My gosh, YES!!!! That jingle makes me want to throw things. And it's so inappropriate, I mean you just fell hundreds of miles to your death and it's playing that happy music, like it's taunting you before it pops your balloon like some sort of mean balloon-popping bully! Hilarious stuff though when you're not the one playing. ;D
