Congratulations, Red!! You know, it's funny, I haven't been here lately because I was busy dealing with all of my wedding's preparations, 'cause I just got married a month ago! and it was great and memorable. Here's hoping your wedding is an amazing experience for you guys. :}

Got the first Wii U games in today where I work. Madden and Fiffa, looks like the games will be in snazzy blue cases.

Nice, Kart, I wish they would have put different images than the cover on the instruction manual and disc, but that's just me. The first games I'm getting for the Wii U: Nintendo Land (it'll be bundled), Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and Scribblenauts Unlimited, they all pay tribute to great Nintendo games, so, of course I was gonna get them! can't wait!!

Wii U

Yeah, but I never had those consoles, so those games are meant for people like me. What matters is the game, not where it has been. Batman, for example, is a great game, and people belittle it for being in everything, well, guess what? that does not make it worse. Wii U's version is amazing, by the way, and the definitive. For all you that still don't have the Wii U, I highly recommend it,you can post pictures on Miiverse while playing games (you just press home and go to Miiverse, then click on the pic icon on right, which is great for showing off scores, funny happenings, etc.), make drawings, which I have made quite a lot, and choose your Mii's expression when posting that. You get "yeahs" on your posts, comments, just like Facebook, but much better than it. There are lots of game communities, and in some, the developers post game videos. On eShop every game available is displayed and you can buy and download them there or watch a video of it, or see how people scores them, but most importantly: demos. Right now the best demo is Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate, there are also indie games, and Nintendo Directs you can watch there, and Virtual Console games like the thirty cents ones that I have been getting.
Then there is Wii U chat which is amazing, better than Skype. Nintendo TVii lets you comment on what you are watching on TV.
What I'm waiting for: Wii U Photo Channel, Drawing application, Book reading application. But they haven't been announced yet.
