Red Turtle's Team Tournament POSTPONED!

I know what everyone is thinking. "You can't play TMNT: Smash-Up with teams." But, I believe that I have found a way that you can...

So, the rules are simple. It's a two-on-two contest. Pick a teammate, and the two of you will sign-up to compete. We will adopt the Super Smash Bros. Series' rules. Here we go...[/b]

Tournament Information[/b][/u]

The tournament has been postponed due to lack of sign-ups. However, we will try and make the tournament continue. As more people sign-up for interest, we will discuss a date for the tournament to take place.[/b]

Rules[/b][/u]

• 2v2 Tournament
  
• Time will be set to 600 seconds
  
• Three Lives per player
  
• No items
  
• First team will be RED, and the other team will be BLUE
  
• Team with the last surviving member wins
  
• The Dojo, Turtle Base, and Space Lab are the only available stages (subject to change)
  
• Team Attack is "on" (Obvious Rule)

Seems easy enough. But, how can we get the settings like this? Easy. We will do a Free-For-All, but each member will know who is their teammate beforehand. So, you will be given a color so that the other team will know the enemy(other than from names). The match will not end once one team is knocked out, but that doesn't mean that the match continues. The team will have already won, but can continue to battle each other(since the timer will still be on). After each match, we will slot the next two teams until we have a championship match.

I hope all of this isn't too confusing. Post below if you want to sign-up, or message me. Be sure that both team members do so.

Also, since teammembers can hurt eachother, I'd say we need bigger stages than the dojo and Lab. Warehouse, Turtle Base? Even though the warehouse has hazards... theres no crocs

Turtle Base would be a good map for this.

I agree. I believe the Dojo, Turtle Base, and the Space Lab are for sure choices. I still don't want to add any with hazards, but we'll have to go over it.

Also, Scruffy, I am not going to participate in the tournament if there is an odd number. That way others can play. But, if there is even numbers, then I am wanting to play in it.[/size]

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to be sure that everyone will see this...

The tournament will be on April 16, 2012 following the Spring Battle Nexus Tournament. This will be more of a reason to get on TMNT: Smash-Up that night. Also, you may find that your partner for the Team Tournament will make a good sparring partner for the Battle Nexus tournament.
