((Alrighty, here is where I'm gonna start posting short-and-sweet stories about the superhero I've created, Replica. I'm posting inside double parenthesis because this isnt part of the story. I would appreciate it if you guys would do the same when replying. I'm brainstorming ideas for the first Chapter/Issue right now. So expect one within a month or so. Just to know a lil bit about her: She is not your typical hero. She was born as a street kid, and raised by gangs. Shes a mutant. And she has an INTENSE hatred towards the "real" superheroes. Hope that got your guys' attentions And this is actually a character I play in a game, called Mutants and Masterminds. So after I get caught up with everything thats happened in game along with her backstory, Issues/Chapters may be popping up once a week or so. Depending on how long adventures take. Look foward to it folks!))

((Mutants and Masterminds is a cool system for tabletop gaming. I am excited to see this character. Who doesn't love a good story?))[/b]

((Been rather busy lately with getting internet, work, helping my neighbor set up their internet, and all sorts of other chores and favors. So its pretty backed up. As soon as I have time I'll work on it some more though. But on the bright side, I'll have internet sometime this week hopefully. And any of ya'll who actually want to meet Replica should get City of Heroes. Its an MMORPG on the computer. Its gone free to play, and I'll be creating her on there too. Virtue server if any of ya'll decide to. Just drop me a line here and I'll add ya to friends or something. I'm a seasoned vet of the game too, so I can help ya if you have troubles. ))

((I want to try and get City of Heroes, but I have been playing DC Universe a good bit lately. Is the CoH free for all players/classes or whatever? I know that Champions only allows certain archetypes.))

((I believe theres only two classes for VIP (monthly players) only. They're the Controllers and Masterminds. Controllers are the mob.. well, controllers. Holds, stuns, sleeps, etc. Dominators can do that too, but they have ranged attacks (with some melee) also whereas controllers have buffs/debuffs with their controlling powers. Masterminds are a tad unique. They're the only class that has controllable pets. You can tell them to attack a certain enemy, attack only when you or they are attacked, or hold a passive stance and never attack. Ever. Other classes get pets, but they're AI controlled. MMs get controllable ones, and a secondary buffing/debuffing set of powers too. All other classes (tanks, melee dps, ranged dps, main buffers/healers/debuffers) are all playable by non-VIPs. And most powersets are all shared by their counterpart class. (classes used to be seperate between city of heroes and city of villains, but now you can create a class on either side) Only ones that arnt, I believe, are Illusion Control for Controllers, and all the MM pets, since they're unique from other pets. So thats really all you're missing out on. Illusion, MMs, and a handful of VIP-only powers. They do a real good job of making sure the VIPs arnt vastly overpowered compared to F2P players though. Any class CAN be overpowered if you know what you're doing. For PvE reasons anyways. PvP is kinda crappy but has its moments. Ranged usually beats melee, hands down. They either blast you to kingdom come before you can close in, or lock you down and then whittle away at'cha from a distance. Melee vs Melee is by far my favorite form of PvP. So much fun~ <3 ))

((In conclusion though, Red, I think CoH is much better than DCUO, or any other MMO. Its kept my attention much more than any other. I always go back to it. Even after The Old Republic Its a different style of fighting though. Theres no button to do regular attacks. Everything costs Endurance (mana bar basically) and has a recharge timer before you can use it again, unless its a toggle. Then it stays on until you turn it off. There are passive powers though, that dont cost anything and stay on indefinately. But all your attacks cost Endurance and are on a recharge. So you wont have a full string of attacks til higher level. But it works that way. Best system and one of the best stories I've ever experienced.))

((I'll have to try it out. I like DCUO's combat system because it is "console" focused. I really like using my Xbox controller instead of the keyboard, but that's just because I never was a PC gamer. I'll give CoH a shot, for sure, but I will have to figure out how to set-up my controller. Until then, I will be terrible. Creating super heroes is always a lot of fun, though.
If you ever get DCUO, then let me know. I have a few characters on it, and it is nice since it is F2P as well. Some of my friends get on there quite frequently, so we always have a good time. Tomorrow (or today I guess) is my last day for finals. Expect to see me around the Dojo much more.))[/b]
