Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing gets a sequel!

It appears most of the original cast will return, along with new characters as well. The new characters are as follows(confirmed and possibly confirmed):

Gilius (Golden Axe)
Joe Musashi (Shinobi)
Danica Patrick (NASCAR) < Every game needs a "WTF" character I guess.

It looks like this game will be a lot like Diddy Kong Racing, which is really neat. Its sad when people say "OMG Mario Kart 7 rip-off" when its not really. Maybe the first game was Mario Kart-ish, but this one is a lot more like Diddy Kong Racing.

A Panzer Dragoon track has also been confirmed, and can be seen in the preview video above.

This looks to be a huge, major improvement over the first game. Can't wait!

Also, in the Joe Musashi pic, that track is Death Adder's Lair from Golden Axe(the game that Gilius is from). If you've played it, you'll recognize that that giant skeleton also matches the one in the character select screen from that game.

I'm maining Joe Musashi first day.


And since a two people can't choose the same character, I'm planning on getting good with Tails (mainly due to the fact that his racing his Whirlwind from Sonic Drift!) and Giulius too.

If Opa Opa returns, he's also on my list of racers.

And hope Vectorman and Streets of Rage characters make it in!

Looks like our buddy NiGHTS, as well as Reala, are going to be in this game! And they're vehciles! No more NiGHTS as the flagman, he gets in on the action this time!

Now Wreck-It-Ralph is joining the cast, as another extra bonus character like Danica. As long as guys like these stay bonuses, I'm happy. And he fits in quite well.

I am super, super disappointed right now. Vectorman will not be playable in this game, it has been confirmed. However, it isn't being stated why, which has got me thinking. He really fit this game's theme really well, though.

Man, that sucks to hear, KingD.

And I'm a big Vectorman fan too... But I'm just getting used to these types of crossover games disappointing me in some sort of way... So I was kind of expecting the worst... (And that includes, no Streets of Rage character either).


It makes no sense.. Vectorman was one of the Top 3 most requested to be seen in the FIRST game.
