The Nintendo goodness starts rolling out on Tuesday, I'm supposedly off of work that morning, so I'm hoping to be watching it live. I'll be in Dojo Chat if that's the case.

I watched all of the conferences today actually. So much time... Lol...
Sony blew my mind away with the pricing. $400 for a PS4!? I could have SWORN it was gonna be around $700 on release! The PS3 started at $600 or so, right? So yeah, after watching Microsoft's and Sony's, I was planning on buying a PS4 before anything else. It looked to be superior, ONTOP of being cheaper.
...That is until I saw Nintendo's. MEGA-LKJHEWROI-MAAAAAAAN. >.<!!!!!! I spazzed out SO HARD I was surprised that I didnt have a heart attack. I've rarely played the Megaman games, but I've been a HUGE fan of him. And when he wasnt shown for Brawl, my dreams were crushed. But... They were revived 10998671230 times fold when he was confirmed, and SHOWED IN GAMEPLAY in Nintendo's conference. So yes, Wii U will be a definite purchase before Smash Bros even comes out next year.
In fact, this video captures exactly what I was like when I saw that helmet in the trailer. I literally jumped around my room screaming just like Max.
WARNING: There is fowl language. But only because of over-hype and excitement.

I'm pretty psyched for DK Tropical Freeze as well. I do love those DK games. And of course Mario Kart looks like a blast to play.

I used to LOVE Killer Instinct. I'm not sure why, I stink at it, but it's very addictive and the music was "PERFECT!" The chain of run of the mill fighting games gets a kick in the pants, C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!!

games that really stick out to me are Kingdom Hearts 3, New Battlefront, new killer instinct (too bad it's on Xbox One), Metal Gear Solid 5, and Smash Bros.
I'm also very excited for Super Mario 3D World. I was hoping for something more new but I really enjoyed 3D Land. I was also hoping that Retro was working on a different series they haven't touched yet.

In risk of sounding like a fanboy... There wasn't anything Sony I was even mildly interested in. Sure I raised an eyebrow at Kingdom Hearts 3 just because SE finally had the decency of making the long awaited Part 3, instead of giving it another name. I'm sort of curious about Infamous Second Son just because I got really into the series.. But over the passing time I realise that Nintendo is my home. I love how the predominant factor is the colorful worlds and characters. Maybe it's the fact that I still love cartoons, or that I feel dirty everytime I cripple an opponent in grittier games.. Anyway... Infamous 2nd Son, and KH III were my interests. As for Nintendo: -Super Mario 3D World: I do not own a 3DS, and I now see myself owning a Wii U before a 3DS. Hence why this called my attention. Also, the fact that it's a 4-player 3D game on console, and the fact that they're referencing SMB2 in at least 2 ways (the cast, and their special abilities). Not to mention the Cat suit looks like fun! (Already calling it, Peach in cat suit will be a new DeviantArt meme) -Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze: I absolutely LOVED DKCR. It wasn't quite Snes DKC, but it was almost there! Now the sequel comes along and re-introduces Dixie Kong. Man this took me back. I just hope we're able to play as Donkey, Dixie, AND Diddy. (Love the concept of Freezing DK's homeland.. I originally had this idea for a Sonic the Hedgehog game) -Super Smash Bros 4: Obviously. I didn't even budge at the Villager trailer. I was a bit let down that Little Mac was nowehere in the trailer despite a lot of the action taking place in a BOXING RING. But I was really excited either way. But nowhere near the level of excitement when MEGA MAN stepped into the battlefield. I almost had a heart attack from there. Then later that day, Wii Fit Trainer. I was shocked, I didn't know how to react. Then I waited.. watched the trailer again, and I actually found it amusing and funny the 2nd time I watched it. I just HAD to click on Amazon to check for Wii U prices. They're not badly priced, but I think I can wait until a few of the games I'm interested in start coming out. I have lost so much of my focus since that blasted Smash Bros. trailer.. it's like being back in 2007. I can only think about making NEWCOMER art, mashups, fight scenes, icons, etc. *sigh* I've lost my life now. XD

BREAKING NEWS!!! Microsoft has REMOVED the DRM policies on their used games! NO MORE signing in every 24 hours to play your games. NO MORE limitations on USED GAMES. NO regional restrictions either. You can play videogames like they were meant to be played. Put it in, and PLAY. Below is the official Microsoft announcement, ripped from kotaku.com: "Last week at E3, the excitement, creativity and future of our industry was on display for a global audience. For us, the future comes in the form of Xbox One, a system designed to be the best place to play games this year and for many years to come. As is our heritage with Xbox, we designed a system that could take full advantage of advances in technology in order to deliver a breakthrough in game play and entertainment. We imagined a new set of benefits such as easier roaming, family sharing, and new ways to try and buy games. We believe in the benefits of a connected, digital future. Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One. You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world. So, today I am announcing the following changes to Xbox One and how you can play, share, lend, and resell your games exactly as you do today on Xbox 360. Here is what that means: An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360. Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360. In addition to buying a disc from a retailer, you can also download games from Xbox Live on day of release. If you choose to download your games, you will be able to play them offline just like you do today. Xbox One games will be playable on any Xbox One console — there will be no regional restrictions. These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One. The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold. Also, similar to today, playing disc based games will require that the disc be in the tray. We appreciate your passion, support and willingness to challenge the assumptions of digital licensing and connectivity. While we believe that the majority of people will play games online and access the cloud for both games and entertainment, we will give consumers the choice of both physical and digital content. We have listened and we have heard loud and clear from your feedback that you want the best of both worlds. Thank you again for your candid feedback. Our team remains committed to listening, taking feedback and delivering a great product for you later this year." Source: kotaku.com/microsoft-is-removing-xbox-one-drm-514390310

That's great news for Xbox users, I don't know who came up with that crazy idea in the first place, but good for them for correcting what could have been a major mistake.
